What Customers Say About The Heavenly Man: The Remarkable True Story of Chinese Christian Brother Yun:

No issues getting the book. Recommend this book to anyone who is serious about Christianity. Service was good.

If you are someone who does not believe in God, then I challenge you to read this book from beginning to end and not see the truth, how God is our Creator and Saviour. Therefore do you think it would be wise to seek the only higher authority. He is here for ALL people (His people)and this is clearly witnessed through Yun's life as he trusts in The Lord through all he has to endure through man's misguided and misled actions. We like to think we do,so we say we are accountable to no one. Read and have your eyes and heart open to the power and love of God that is ever present in the life of a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour and walk in Him,then you will see and identify how The Lord works in and through Yun's life.

Matthew Chapter: 28 verse:20 'I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Deuteronomy Chapter:4 verse:29 'But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul'.Genesis Chapter:1 verse:1 'In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth'.Revelation Chapter:22 verse:13 'I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last'.1 Thessalonians: Chapter:5 verse:17 'Pray without ceasing'. Oh you say we are accountable to the law and the government of the country we abide in, yes we are, but this to is corrupt and unlawful. Matthew Chapter:6 verse:33 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Galations Chapter:322But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Well this will go on because man is corrupt and sinful by the very fact that we have turned our backs on God. There are so many false teachers pertaining to be Christians that we need to seek The Lord for discernment on who are the wolves and who are the true sheep.(Matthew 7 v15) But if we surrender ourselves to The Lord Jesus Christ, He will be with you forever and you will be His forever in eternity. Do you not think, how can this go on. The Bible (God's Word) is that authority, and any true Christian will testify that The Bible 'God's Word' is their authority too.

You will have tears of joy and tears of sadness, but most of all you will be gloryfying and praising God for His love for all people, no matter where they are or what they have done. Where there is no corruption. Amen'. When we see what man does to man every single day, do you not think to yourself, why is this happening. We continue to rely on ourselves for answers, we have none.

In this instance, he said he told the official, 'Captain Wong, this Bible will not only tell you how can receive salvation, but Jesus will also heal you of your throat infection.' Although God has certainly healed numerous physical afflictions, that power resides in God; Mr. I had very high hopes for this book based upon several reviews that I read on Amazon. Sadly, that changed some as I went on.In many ways this seems like a very impressive testimony to the power of Jesus Christ. I do not recommend it.

The Good News is certainly not about coercion. At the very least, it appears to me that Yun lacks humility in his presentation.Although I really enjoyed parts of this book, the problematic parts began to outweigh the good. The Gospel of Christ is about a free gift that is offered to those who want it. If so, I am at least very curious about his methods.

He has reportedly spent seven years in prison in two different countries, been on the run for several more years, undergone incredible torture, and witnessed to scores of lost souls. Christians can pray for healing, but God decides, not Yun.Another very disturbing pattern presented is the way that Yun says that he orders people to do various things: 'I command you to kneel down and repent of your sins', 'I command you to kneel down and accept Jesus as your Savior', and 'After I spoke, I commanded people to kneel down at the foot of the cross of Jesus, and they wept.' He may have indeed said these things. When I first started reading this, it seemed to meet that expectation. Yun tells this as if the power is in him.

As there are many people who are said to have witnessed many of his miraculous experiences, it would have been nice if there were accounts of some of those included. One story told about how Yun had an encounter with a prison warden. In others, it causes me discomfort.First, the good: Brother Yun seems to be a person who has suffered a great deal for the Gospel's sake. Many of his words are incredibly encouraging and challenging to believers, particularly those in western nations where persecution is either non-existent or minimal. Now, the bad:There is virtually no corroboration for Yun's incredible claims with the exception of his wife.

Through the love of Christ, he has not only overcome the forces of the world, but has become a beacon of light that testifies to God's grace reaching every corner of the earth. In addition to being a writer, Hattaway is the international director of Asia Harvest, an organization committed to serving the church throughout Asia. After Yun's book was published, many skeptics have attacked Yun's testimony but they have all been groundless. His life and testimony is an example of the exemplary life every every Christian should strive for. Here is the link: [.].The simple fact cannot be overstated, the testimony in this book is an absolute must read for the believer as well as the skeptic. Brother Yun's testimony wakes and shakes us up. The German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke wrote:"You may begin reading the book 'The Heavenly Man' on your couch, but you will finish it on your knees. This is what happened to me. They out live and out die the enemies of God and fill the world with the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Yun has been through the fires of persecution that few people on earth could even imagine. A website has been setup where Hattaway recounts the numerous interviews he conducted with locals Christians in China that testify to the veracity of Yun's story. Having a mastery of the English language, Paul weaves the story together from several different people. Don't tarry to pick up your copy and devour this book as quickly as possible. He has personally investigated the claims of Yun's testimony prior to publishing this book. We are condemned to Victory. The story is recaptured in fastidious detail on every page of the book from start to finish. Anyone reading these pages will not remain the same.

Next to the Bible I know of no other book that has impacted me more.Paul Hattaway captivates the story of Yun's testimony with precision like accuracy. The Heavenly Man will not only challenge the reader, it will leave the reader in utter awe of the indescribable emotional, uplifting, and true tale told through this man. This is the message: In the fiercest persecution God's people, filled with the Holy Spirit, are invincible. This is not only true for China, but also for the rest of the world."There are few books in one's life that can make a dramatic, long lasting impact.

Personally, I would go with the latter choice. But you will also experience the overwhelming joy and blessedness of his intimate communion with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Unlike Brother Yun, I have never experienced a clear-as-day vision from the Lord. If you fall into this category, I would recommend this book all the more.

This book is absolutely incredible. So for me, this is a great benefit of reading this book: it has strengthened my faith -- as I believe it cannot help but do, for anyone who reads it with a desire to know God more intimately.Regardless of where you stand with God, this book will have an impact on your life. But does this mean that visions therefore don't happen, or does it mean that my faith is not as strong as it should be. If you believe in God, and if you believe that He can -- and does -- perform miraculous signs and wonders, then you will be blown away by this story of how He has used a humble Chinese evangelist to bring many thousands of people into His Kingdom.

It may change your mind, or it may not; but at the least, you won't be able to read it with indifference. We who are Western Christians sometimes dismiss talk of signs and wonders and visions and the like as being something that, even if it happened in Bible times, certainly doesn't happen in our modern world. Read it. Brother Yun has suffered mightily for his faith, and you will read all about it in uncomfortable, squirm-inducing detail. Like the Apostle Paul -- whose story "The Heavenly Man" closely resembles -- Brother Yun's walk with the Lord has an intensity and a ferver that few of us in the West can even imagine. If, however, you don't believe in God, or don't believe in supernatural miracles, this book may seem "incredible" in a different way: in the sense of "not credible"; that is, not believable.
